Three things, and they pay for each other.

Programmes for women who need them, training for the organisations that can pay for it, and the funding routes that connect the two.

Beneficiary programmes

Four groups of women — at business, at work, at home, and underprivileged — each with its own route through mentoring, upskilling, funding and placement.

Corporate training

Nine programmes delivered to corporates and institutions, from POSH compliance to leadership, drawn from a network of more than 300 qualified trainers.

Funding

Grant Wave raises through donors and CSR. Skill Fund returns a share of training earnings to the trust. Between them they keep the free programmes running.

Uma G Reddy

Trustee & Founder

A Rotarian, dynamic serial entrepreneur and MBA graduate specialising in Marketing & HR. With over 20 years in the corporate world and a decade in business, she has in-depth knowledge of the challenges women face at many levels. Founder CEO at Hiring Studios — HR Consulting & Recruitment; Director at Primeworth Energia (solar, biogas, wind turbines); Director at Silverhive Realtors and Management LLP.

Uma believes that businesses seek efficiency and implementation rather than talk about feminism. That is her primary objective in founding FemmForce.

Narasimhan M.V

Trustee

A Rotarian and seasoned HR professional with over three decades of experience in HR and management. He is passionate about networking and has created hundreds of WhatsApp and LinkedIn groups to help people find jobs, share knowledge and build business relationships.

His background spans manufacturing, hospitality, winery, NGO, textiles, poultry, logistics, education and training — with organisations including WS Industries, ALSTOM, AREVA, Suguna Foods, Alpine Wineries, SPR Retail Chains, FSL, Zenith Textiles, Cheran Group, Rareminds, Royal Orchid Groups and Chancery Pavilion. He also mentors young students through the NHRWA Trust Student Chapters.

Jaya Reddy

Executive Director

An MBA (HR) graduate with over 15 years of diverse industry experience across the corporate world and NGOs. She is also an entrepreneur and Partner in Journey Breeze International, a tourism company, and has been an active member of Lions Clubs International for the last six years, volunteering in communities around India.

Jaya believes in empowering women through upskilling, providing resources and creating opportunities for them to control their own lives, make informed decisions and participate in social, economic and political life.

A stepping stone for women who intend to rise.
